Dear Job Applicant,
This privacy notice has been prepared by Boğaziçi Eğitim Hizmetleri ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, acting as the data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in the Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform. Its purpose is to inform you regarding the purposes of processing your personal data, the legal grounds, collection methods, possible recipients, and your rights under KVKK.
We have no absolute control over the information you provide in your resumes or on the websites through which you contact us. We recommend that you do not share with us any personal data or special categories of personal data that you do not wish us to know.
Which Personal Data Do We Process?

Your name, surname, date and place of birth, gender, marital status, nationality;

Information related to your health, if included in your resume (such as disability status);

Your education details, certificates and diplomas, areas of expertise, foreign language skills, skills and competencies, seminar and training participation, computer skills, exam results;

Your data will be processed in accordance with KVKK. If your application is unsuccessful, your data may be retained for up to 1 year. If your application is successful, your data may be stored for up to 10 years after the termination of your employment by Boğaziçi Eğitim Hizmetleri ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi.
For What Purposes Do We Process Your Personal Data?
The above-mentioned personal data are processed for the performance of this Service Agreement related to the employment services we provide, specifically for:

Assessing whether you have the required qualifications for the proposed position,

Contacting your references to evaluate your suitability for the role,

Determining your preferred position, salary expectation, availability for other positions, and start date,

Determining whether you can drive company vehicles when necessary,

Assessing your age suitability for the position and ensuring compliance with the Regulation on the Employment of Child and Young Workers,

Ensuring that our HR department can easily recognize you during interviews,

Preparing your personnel file in case you are hired,

Determining whether there are any circumstances that may interrupt your employment during the contract term and ensuring compliance with Article 75 of the Military Penal Code No. 1632.
By Which Methods and Legal Grounds Do We Process Your Personal Data?
Your personal data are processed with your explicit consent, in line with the legal grounds under Article 5 of the Law:

Where processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations,

Where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject,

Where processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract directly related to the personal data of the parties.
Your data may be processed through automated means (e.g. automatically transmitted to our system online) or non-automated means (e.g. recording information you provide over the phone).
To Whom and For What Purposes Do We Transfer Your Personal Data?
Your personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement agencies in case of legal disputes or as required by applicable legislation. In addition, with your consent, they may be temporarily transferred to relevant departments within the company via e-mail services hosted abroad.
What Are Your Rights Regarding the Processing of Personal Data and How Can You Exercise Them?
Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, you may submit your requests regarding your rights in accordance with Article 5 of the “Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Application to the Data Controller” to Boğaziçi Eğitim Hizmetleri ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi in writing, via registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or through the e-mail address previously notified to and registered in our system.
