While technology can provide important advantages such as access to information, different research and discovery opportunities, being able to collaborate with people around the world by participating in projects of common interest, it can also cause some difficulties. Therefore, cyber security and safe internet use are very important. While I.T. Department takes technical measures such as keeping firewalls active, safe use of technology is also ensured by offering courses on safe internet use and technology literacy for students within the curriculum.
